Each year at Thanksgiving, the SF Sketchers meetup group hosts a virtual meetup to “draw your Thanksgiving dinner – or the aftermath.” I’m always inspired by the inventive and expressive images that are posted.

As for us, we continued our time-honored tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving by drinking gin & tonics and watching the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy.

This year we did break for a meal…one primarily assembled from Trader Joe boxes. We also had a spatchcocked turkey that was quite tasty.

For my sketch this year, I illustrated our meal and all the fixin’s.
