ArborApril 16: Damage

[16] Today’s prompt is Damage
Journal a tree showing damage or injury such as cuts, weeps, or seeps. Is there a tree who has suffered bad pruning?
Seeing damage is never easy, never simple. There are so many risks to life and limb, and the Dragon Tree has survived so much damage. Despite it all, the tree resists, continues to leaf, continues to grow. A lesson for our times I think: stress, destruction, and damage can be resisted with a ferocious beauty.
