ArborApril 17: Trees & People

[17] Today’s prompt is Trees & People
Draw people interacting with trees, or explore how how people set the scale for a tree. You might sit at a cafe and draw the trees nearby, including the people.
The lithe and nimble branches of a blue palo verde beckon for a stroke and a hug. The bark is more like skin…and has a wonderful similarity to my aging skin, heh. Woobles and wrinkles, elbows and knees. It’s so healing to run my hands on the branches and to feel all the beautiful imperfections in this perfectly beautiful tree. To feel the energy and life in the tree. Big thanks to my sister for introducing me to this wonderful new friend!
