Count on Nature: Exploring Numbers in your Nature Journal, Sep 16 [live online]
To infinity and beyond! Odds are that you’re familiar with the nature journaling trifecta of words, pictures, and numbers. In this session we’ll dive into numbers and explore how counts, measures, and spans reveal new ways to see the world through patterns, relationships, and cycles.
There will be writing, and sketching, and perhaps a wee bit of math. If you’re just out of the gate in your nature journaling journey, integrating numbers is a low-stakes way to deepen observation. For seasoned journalers, you’re invited to come and play with numbers in weird and wild new ways.
This session is for all levels of nature journalers; best for folks who are excited to experiment and play with a variety of approaches, and who also enjoy puns.
