Sketchnotes from Tradecraft Mentor :: 7 Things I Wish I Knew as a New UX Designer, with George Hu, Salesforce

What would an expert want to know if he could go back in time to the start of his UX career?

That’s the topic that George Hu from Salesforce focused on in a mentor talk at Tradecraft. In his October 7 session, George shared the lessons he’s learned and what he wish he had known earlier in his career.

So many of his stories jived with my own learnings, and I was super inspired by his summary list. George brought humor, examples and potent insights to his talk. He also brought his smart and awesome colleague Adrian Rapp who voiced in and shared his own stories of his UX learning curve.

If you have the opportunity to hear George speak, you should. He’s got good stuff to share. And you can follow George and Adrian on Twitter!

Below are my sketchnotes of the session. Special shout-out to Dr. Makayla Lewis and Ian Fenn for inspiring the colors. 😉
